School History

• The school was founded in 1984.
• The school’s site: it is situated on the northeast suburb of Nabatieh at the entry of Kferremane.
• The school applies the new programs in education.
• Three very well equipped labs exist in the school that prepared a computer room but is still waiting for the Directorate instructions.

Sport Activities

• The high school participates in most of sport activities in the village as well as the annual folklore festival in the south.

Official Exam résultats 

• Three or six students succeeded the official exams in the south and were the first classed

History of the village

Nabatieh is the center of “Jabal Amel”, the historical nomination of south Lebanon since the third century till the establishment of the current state of Lebanon in 1920.

The history of the village refers to the eighth century B.C.its site changed many time between hills, valleys and water resources .different countries and people lived in Nabatieh since the past stone area till today.

  The foundation of the current Nabatieh and its nomination, according to some historians, goes to “Anbat” Arab age. Their state which capital is Petra prospered and their authority extended during the first and the second century to “Al Oualé” river (in Sayda) passing by Damascus where they installed in Nabatieh a trade station for their caravans moving between Sayda, its port and the interior of Syria.

   As for the families living actually in Nabatieh, they could be referred to Yemenite Arab origins. They lived in the region after the crash of the Maereb dam in Yemen during the third century B.C.
